Cat Power’s latest video is for the lovely single “Manhattan” off her dynamite 2012 release, Sun. The singer travels through the big apple on (what I guess is) a double-decker bus in awe of the buildings and everything around her that’s ‘so New York’. The delicate song has a humble and nostalgic air, and makes for a touching lullaby to the city.
As a homegrown New Yorker, I really love the view from Cat Power’s eyes.
