Arresting melodies set the stage for Geographer’s Animal Shapes. Echoing synths and bleached vocals create a soft, airy sound that’s perfect for any time of the day (but perhaps a bit more at night). The album is filled with wonderful electronic ballads paired with the sounds of the cello, keys and drums, played by Nathan Blaz and Brian Ostreicher, respectivelly.
Listen to the lovely “Verona” below and catch the band on tour this fall with Ladytron.
