St. Lucia’s Quintessential Brooklyn Video For "Elevate"

The music video to St. Lucia’s insanely catchy “Elevate” premiered yesterday on Noisey. Shot in Brooklyn, it captures quintessential summer scenes, including kids cooling off with an open fire hydrant, break-dancers and adults playing a game of dominoes.

Simultaneously St. Lucia is shot in their rehearsal space preparing for an eviction party that night. The band actually got evicted from this space, as the warehouse is being turned into condos. Seizing the ousting as the perfect opportunity to shoot an epic ending to the video, St. Lucia threw a rooftop party for their friends featuring Avan Lava, Dap Kings and Savoir Adore.

Check it out and try not to mourn summer’s end too much.

St. Lucia’s debut album When The Night, drops October 8th via Neon Gold Records. The band kicks off a fall tour with Two Door Cinema Club starting October 2nd. See tour dates here.
