This weekend embrace the sun and summer with Austin’s Solstice Festival. Kicking off tonight (6/18) and running through Sunday, June 21st, Solstice Fest features free music, local art and activities, including performances by Ringo Deathstarr, Roger Sellers, Golden Dawn Arkestra and many, many more.
One of those activities includes a guided meditation and the unveiling of Pyramid Osiris, crafted from two tons of steel by artist Tom Bandage. Witness the unveiling of the pyramid starting at 12pm sharp on Saturday, June 20th at Pan Am park (2100 E 3rd St).
Saturday’s festivities at Pan Am Park in East Austin run from 12pm-10pm, followed by an after-party at Vulcan Gas Company where guests will officially welcome the summer solstice at midnight with a proper dance party.
