Old Settler’s Music Festival kicks off this weekend in the beautiful hill country of Dripping Springs, Texas (at the height of bluebonnet season, mind you). This years lineup features some stand-out Americana and soul bands including Dawes, Deer Tick, The Suffers, The Band Of Heathens, Bob Schneider, The Milk Carton Kids and many others.
In addition to the music, Old Settler’s Fest features arts & crafts, musician workshops from the artists themselves (“you could see Sam Bush give mandolin tips”), Salt Lick BBQ from the source, impromptu jam sessions, and just good, chill vibes.
Music, BBQ and the hill country, what could be better?
Listen to the festival playlist here and be transported to the peaceful oasis that is the Texas hill country.
