Natasha Khan’s ‘Garden Heart’

Composer Jon Hopkins is working on the score for filmmaker Kevin Macdonald’s (The Last King Of Scotland) new project How I Live Now, a film about “An American girl on holiday in the English countryside with her family finds herself in hiding and fighting for her survival as the third world war breaks out.”

Hopkins invited Bat for Lashes’ Natasha Khan to collaborate on a song for the soundtrack. The result is “Garden’s Heart”, a beautiful, foreboding ballad. The video was directed by Khan and stars the film’s lead, Saoirse Ronan. How I Live Now is scheduled for release October 18th and the soundtrack in November which will also feature songs from Nick Drake, Daughter, Amanda Palmer and more.
