Feelings are a meddlesome thing, London Grammar puts them in their place in the poetic single of the same name. Lead singer Hannah Reid’s striking, rich voice stirs up plenty of emotions, primarily the urge to hear more from this trio.
Across the pond, fans feel quite strongly for the emerging act which played all of the UK’s major festivals this summer, including Glastonbury, Bestival and the xx’s Night + Day fest. I’m predicting now that come next year they’ll be hitting up plenty of U.S. festivals as well. If you’ve been listening to Disclosure’s Settle, you’ll recognize London Grammar from the closing track “Help Me Lose My Mind.”
“Feelings” appears on London Grammar’s Strong EP out September 1st, followed by their debut album If You Wait out September 10th.
