Austin-based singer Jazz Mills revives the sounds of the 60s on her self-titled debut EP out November 12th. Influenced by Nancy Sinatra, Fleetwood Mac and old school Disney Classics, Mills sings with sophistication and dash of whimsy. In baby doll dresses, big hair and big lashes, she not only revives the era’s musical style but the mod fashion as well.

Jazz Mills celebrates the release of her debut EP at Austin’s Strange Brew on Saturday, November 9th. If you’re a local, be sure to check out the release show at this intimate, iconic spot.

Oh and if you think Jazz Mills is a newbie think again. The singer’s recorded with over 30 bands (!) collaborating with The Black Angels, The Kills, Cowboy and Indian, and more. Mills has also opened up for the likes of Stevie Wonder, Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes, Fitz and the Tantrums, and Coldplay. Not bad for this flower child, not bad at all.

P.S. Everyone should write songs inspired by Disney Classic movies.
