In The Valley Below Reach For The Sweetest Peaches

“Peaches” the premier single from Los Angeles duo In The Valley Below, is as deliciously ripe as it sounds. Vocalist Angela Gail and guitarist/vocalist Jeffrey Jacob’s breathy harmonies and lush synth beats sound seriously sexy. In “Peaches” the two lament personal problems (work) and world issues (disease). In the end, biting into one sweet, sweet peach melts away all their problems for a brief moment as they infer, “We won’t live too long, so let’s love for one song.”

Jeffrey hails from Memphis, while Angela escaped Michigan,”for a life at sea, finding initial songwriting inspiration while living on a small boat in the West Indies.” Eventually they found each other in LA and In The Valley Below was born. “Our biggest inspiration is powerful subjects like sex, crime and religion,” says the pair, “and how that fits into the lives we’ve chosen, our dreams and struggles, mistakes and heartbreaks.”

In The Valley Below’s debut album will be released later this year. See them on tour with White Lies this October:
