GIVEAWAY: Deap Vally’s Debut Album "Sistrionix" On Vinyl!

Fierce Los Angeles feminists Deap Vally have been raising hell with their full-throttle rock and fiery guitar licks. If you attended Coachella, Lollapalooza or Bonnaroo this summer, your probably saw the duo in action. Consequence of Sound hailed their live performance at Lollapalooza, saying, “Beautiful? Yes. Rock stars? Hell yes. If you’re unfamiliar with Deap Vally, I pay them the ultimate compliment by asking you to imagine that Janis Joplin was able to play lead guitar à la Jack White…”

Deap Vally’s debut album Sistrionix drops October 8th and Sound Dessert has a vinyl copy to give away to one lucky reader. “Walk of Shame”, one of the lead singles off Sistrionix, is the opposite of what it sounds. Confused and frustrated by the “shame” moniker, the ladies wrote an unapologetic anthem about having places to go and not having time to go home for a change of clothes singing, “I’ma take a walk of pride, I got sunshine in my stride.”

So tell me, which Deap Vally track puts “sunshine in your stride” and why? Answer in the comments for your chance to win a vinyl copy of Sistrionix.* Winner will be selected Friday at 5pm CST.
