Cumulus Want You To Get In The "Middle"

Seattle trio Cumulus is led by singer Alexandra Niedzialkowski and her deliciously dreamy voice. Calling themselves a “proper rock band”, Cumulus incorporate a strong dose of wonder as well. The daydreamy single “Middle” invites one to get lost in thought as Alexandra sings,

“Why don’t you come along? Why don’t you get in the middle?
Why don’t you come along, why don’t you, why don’t you?

We can talk about our loss of faith
or the one we had that got away
Talk about the moments you feel small
Talk about the moments that you could not feel at all”

The video for “Middle” was shot during the Oyster Run in Anacortes, WA and features a wheel-chaired woman ditching her husband to watch the bikers and townspeople (including someone trying to sell a peacock for $20 or best offer – what?).

Cumulus’ debut album, I Never Meant It To Be Like This, is out now via Death Cab For Cutie guitarist/producer Chris Walla’s Trans- Records.
