Austin’s best emerging artists will be recognized at the second annual Black Fret Black Ball this Friday, December 4th at the historic and iconic Paramount Theatre on Congress Avenue.

Riffing off the grant model that’s long sustained the theater and other performing arts, Black Fret seeks to disrupt the way we support musicians.

The non-profit provides grants to Austin musicians in an effort to fortify the local music industry. These grant services range from professionally engineered recordings and music videos, to tour support, and more. Additionally, Black Fret nominees receive mentoring from some of Austin’s top music industry leaders.

So who are this year’s lucky nominees?
